CATALINA ISLAND WITH SNORKELING

This small island of 15,6 km² is completely surrounded by a natural coral reef, which attracts thousands of enthusiastic divers. In it’s territorial waters is the shipwreck of the famous pirate Capitan William Kidd. It’s also the natural habitat of lush mangrove swamps, exotic sand dunes and beautiful corals. In addition to the wonderful views, Catalina Island is known worldwide for being one of the most special diving spots in the Caribbean. From the beach a gentle slope leads you to the impressive wall that descends more than 100 meters deep, with two impressive steps at 25 and 40 meters.  All the slope, from the beach to the wall, is a real upholstered garden of corals and fauna, a platform of thousands of square meters within 3 meters deep, perfect for free diving. Probably the best place of the whole Caribbean for this activity. Each centimeter of this bottom is covered with sponges and corals. No doubt, it’s a privileged place.
